Yes, i was looking back at some pics and found these ones of me and midge at the Cure concert back in the summer. She put in for them at a raffle and won! Of course we thought it would be a hoot to go, just the two of us. I wanted to get all decked out with dark eyeliner and wicked clothes (no you would not see these legs in fish net lol) but she said "I don't think people dress like that anymore, everyone there will be about our age." So i said "ok" We left the house at 5:00 because she said that the concert would start at 6:30. We come squealing in at about 5:45 and heaven only knows why we were the only ones in the parking lot. First we thought gee maybe it got cancelled? Or gosh we might be the only ones here, i guess that is why these tickets were in the raffle. So we wait, and wait...... finally a couple of cars come into the parking lot. They get out and i could have sworn that they went into the building. So what do me and midge do? Hop out of my suburban and start walking. When we get to the doors, don't mind us, they are locked and the "groupies" are standing in line to bust the doors open at any second from what we thought. So Midge gets out the tickets and hummm, wouldn't you know it, the dang concert doesn't even start until 7:30 and doors don't open until 6:30!! So there we stand in our preppier clothes in line with a bunch of people who look like they just walked off of the set "The nightmare before Christmas" bull butter people don't dress like that anymore:) Needless to say it was a fun night and we laughed hard.
